Subject: GLBT Process Dear Ms. Rutson, In light of Mr. Patton’s request, could you please advise how the public will be served through the EIS process when an actual application is filed? It is clear that Mr. Patton sees this process as premature. The only way this can be interpreted, is that significant changes to the proposal are coming or worse, being created. How will these changes be incorporated into the EIS process? Clearly the public has expressed resounding concern for what has been shared by GLBT thus far. If what has been submitted is not what is intended, then the public has been denied due process to express concern. While I understand the interest on behalf of the STB to begin the lenghty EIS process, this request shows that indeed this has been premature, particularly for a project of this size. As a taxpayer, I request that the board take “no action” on the current proposal, and in the event Mr. Patton ask to reinstate the process, the STB must require an application be submitted, and fees be paid prior to anymore taxpayers dollars being used to collect information. Sincerely, Andrew Corbus acorbus@gmail.com (815) 953-9700
