The proposed GLB rail route will cross numerous conservation areas adjoining my property. I have 20 acres currently in federal CRP programs; my neighbor to the north has over 50 acres in CRP. The GLB route will bisect the 50-acre prairie, and come within 100 feet of my north property line. The railroad will also cross several local roads and cause great delays for emergency response if the projected traffic of 13 trains per hour is reached. There are several wetlands within the current projected route, as well.
