Please do whatever you are able to BLOCK the Great Lakes Basin Railroad. My family is slowly renovating a farm that has been in our family for generations. It's a simply hobby farm, but where the chickens and ducks wandered around, they intend to build a railroad. Our well is a shallow well that's worked for decades, one spill and then what's in my family's water? What then becomes of the creek running through the property? Rural living isn't just about the people - its about the animals and the land those people care for, too. The railroad has no interest in respecting and tending to nature the way those who chose it as a way of life do. PLEASE STOP THEM from taking away our way of life, our own family legacies, and the peace and quite that the healthy rural landscape embodies.
