The proposed railroad will take up tens of thousand of acres of farmland and ruin tens of thousands more due to water shed. This land cannot be replaced or repaired. This is a disaster for the midwestern farmer, not to mention the destruction of hundred of family farms and thus family legacies. Please do everything in your power to stop the abomination.
