Dear Ms. Ruston, Regarding your letter granting the glb a temporary suspension" of the EIS, please tell me why this company is allowed every consideration, extension, favor, etc. when it should not be. Why? Why does your letter read "Once glb files its application with the Board, OEA will resume work on determining a range of reasonable and feasible alternatives to be addressed.....etc..." Please tell me who is determining these "reasonable alternatives"? to me it sounds as if the STB believes there are reasonable alternatives! What happened to the ''NO BUILD ALTERNATIVE"?? Why is glb allowed a suspension if an application had not even been filed up to this point??? How does the glb get all these favors?? And "....they MAY have additional public scoping meetings, if warranted." REALLY?? Is the STB going to base their decision to allow this to happen on what the glb tells you?? Are you allowing the glb to threaten us to be pushed off our property by the abuse of eminent domain?? I believe the STB Board needs to come out and view every inch of this proposed rail line and rail port to see that there are people living and thriving here! ALL of YOU need to come out and see our homes and farms and land and jobs and churches and cemeteries and orchards and greenhouses and schools and environment that would be destroyed by this scheme!! The request for suspension should have been denied not approved!! Why do you ignore 5000+ comments and oppositions? This is a flawed and unfair process and it needs to be rejected now! thank you, Julie Kokos"
