My husband and his siblings own farmland in the town of Rock, Rock County, Wisconsin. The proposed railroad will be crossing Gooseneck Creek which flows through our property. This creek feeds into the Rock River. Building this railroad will have a negative impact on this creek and ultimately Rock River. Will the railroad go over the creek? How wide will the crossing be? Will the railroad constrict the flow of water in the creek used to feed livestock? God forbid there is a derailment in the future, the negative impact of chemicals, toxic waste, or oil on the water would be devastating. This railroad route will devalue our property, negatively impact wildlife, and disrupt our way of life and the future use of this property. We pray for a NO BUILD OPTION!
