I will loose my part-time job if this train is put in. I use such extra funds to help those in need in Winnebago County as we all know Rockford is the highest crime rate city in the country. I speak with Old Timers whom are not used to change and could very well become very sick with this amount of change to their home lands. We need to focus more on helping those with addictions, schooling, love, health and so on. This train will not help those in need in the area and in fact puts those already struggling in harms way even deeper. This seems to be more of a ploy for depopulation then to fix the problems that are already here. This is a temporary profit plan that has proven over and over again to fail in the long term by destroying ecosystems around the world. Surrounding the city with a hazardous train system is asking for a major disaster. This is a profit plan and not in any way a plan to better society. Eminent domain can not be forced for a profit plan. Ecosystems, water, historic sights, jobs, safety, property values, commutes (ambulances/police/workers); these things will all suffer. Good profits for the investors, must be nice for the few to profit off the backs of the many. There are many people in Rockford whom are blind to what is really going on. They are being told lies and only what the media wants to show. They have no clue that they will never get a job from this train. There will be no jobs for those in Winnebago County and if there are it will not be for those whom really need a job, of whom there are thousands. Water. Can we live with out water?
