I am sending this message today regarding a recently released GLB train route. As I view this preferred route" on the satellite image I have come to realize that although the route runs north/south in general, somehow it manages to run in a manner that blocks nearly every major road my family has access to. Road closings and rail crossings will directly effect us in many ways including increased commute times to work, navigating these dangerous crossings, and longer response times from emergency responders to our area. The noise created by these trains would also greatly harm our area homes and property values in general. My single greatest concern with all of this however is my young daughter who will be receiving her drivers license in the next year. This rail line is a disaster waiting to happen for young drivers and the many school buses that will be forced to deal with these crossing many many times daily. Please block this project. It is going to be devastating for the many small communities along its colossal route. It is an unnecessary project! Upgrade current lines and improve the rail infra structure already in place."
