Meridian Rd. Rockton, IL. 61072. I will be part of the GLB railroad being proposed by private business men wanting to take private land for their profit which never should happen in this country. I live across the road from huge electric high-lines which have underground gas lines that appear to run alongside of these towers. Buckeye gas line placed lines here in 1954 and Northern Illinois gas has lines here too. There is also some form of fiber cables along with these gas lines. The GLB railroad will have to cross all of this at some point and possibly more than once. My fear of having a railroad running over all of this is the fact that the age of the Buckeye gas and oil line could possibility cause breaks and huge fires with the shaking of the land from the train movement. The many trains which, I understand, could be 100 or more a day will vibrate the ground and may be like small earth quakes which we all know can break the lines and shift the earth around the lines. If you allow a private company to start digging around these lines, who will be responsible for any gas, oil or fires caused by this? How will they move the huge electric towers? Please consider this before granting a private corporation the right to take private land and destroy the many businesses along with it. Thank you for your time. Virgene McVay
