I am writing to ask for more time for public comment for FD 35952. This is my family farm and this farm will be forever destroyed. all of my parents years of blood, sweat and tears will be in vain. HOw would you like someone to take your home away from you? It's not right and there is no need for this train. It is only about 70ft from their house, they will not be able to live in their own house. How will they get insurance? If they did try to sell it who would want to live close to a hazardous track. They have livestock, they can not adjust to trains, that they say will go 70 miles an hour and up to ONE HUNDRED trains a day. Their land has a high water table, they have no rock base till 200 ft down, how can that support a heavy fast moving train. does the GLBRR not have geologist looking at the ground. this is the start of the aquifer in the top of IL. When, not if, a tanker derail it will ruin the rivers and waters for ever, and the soil. Water is life, dirt if life and clean air if life, and the GLBRR is taking it away from them and many more. God help us all. This is a nightmare, like a black cloud hanging over their heads. have a little empathy here.
