This rail line will remove some of the most productive farm land from production. It will divide farms and make the transport of farm equipment to one owners land significantly more difficult, increasing fuel use and safety to others when the equipment must be transported on public roads. Increased fuel use will result from people and buses needing to travel longer distances due to current roads that will be blocked. Potential spills from the RR will contaminate the local streams and water tables.
