Having grown up in the West Rockford area, and a current land owner affected by the proposed rail route, I am greatly opposed to this project. This is hardly rural" Winnebago and is barely outside city limits, not to mention the amount of wetland and water resource areas this route covers in Winnebago county. The statements made how this will increase our property values is utterly false. Any property adjacent to a rail line is always reduced to almost the lowest values. I urge reconsideration on this proposed rail line. Thank you for your time, Melanie Fetterly"
