Dear Mr. Navecky, I am writing because the GLB Railroad has proposted a new route from Indiana through Illinois to Wisconsin. This is not a good idea from an environmental aspect. This area is where the Sugar River, Rock River and Pecatonica Rivers converge. This means the area is a haven for wildlife. If there was ever a spill in the area - this would be a disaster for the wildlife there - including the Bald Eagle and Massasauga Snake. Not to mention that the aquafers in this region are very shallow. Also of concern is that there are already existing rail lines in the area. I have been told that the reason they are not used is that they are not in good repair. It seems to me that instead of using vast amounts of resources to build a whole new rail line - not to mention taking peoples property against their wishes - that these existing rail lines be re-vamped and re-used. Please consider opening the comments back up to the public. There are a lot of people that do not want this and they deserve to be heard. Thank you. chris dawson
