Hello, I would like to express my concern about the Great Lakes Basin Transportation running through Rock County Wisconsin. I have multiple concerns regarding the trains. Rock County has multiple communities that this train will affect. From safety, environmental, property values, noise, wild life, infrastructure, etc.I work in the transportation industry and use the Chicago terminal almost every day for our containers. We have no issues with using this terminal. I cannot understand why by-passing Chicago makes much sense for anyone involved. I feel there is a hidden agenda here that Great Basin is not making public. I know multiple freight carriers that prefer the Chicago terminal because of its easy access to many locations. Personally, I don't see any reason to disrupt the communities in Rock County. The Great Basin, would kill the small business owners, the farmers and the property values. Please consider all of these people in your decision. The Great Basin will destroy people's lives.
