Mr Navecky Some last minute things . - As you probably do not know we already have two roads closed in our area because of disputes over who is responsible for the maintenance of bridges. The amount of bridges proposed; one trail over rail, eight road over rail, 2 rail over rail for Rock County, WI alone is of great concern for the residents of the affected townships in Rock County WI. - No new rail is proposed in the Wisconsin Rail Plan. - The lack of any information about a bridge over Turtle Creek in any of the available GLBT information is of concern. The area where a bridge should have been proposed is also in a flood plain. This is of concern for the at-grade crossing proposed for Creek Road as well. An at-grade crossing planned just feet from this creek. - Another concern are the many curves in the proposed track in Clinton and Bradford Township, Rock County WI. Curves increase the chances of derailments, especially for unit trains traveling at higher speeds. The problems with the proposed rail are overwhelming and seemingly never ending. The line drawn on the map was not drawn with the care it should have been. Time to respond will end shortly. My hope is that you will do what is right and stop this charade and allow people to go back to leading their lives and taking care of their families, land and livestock.
