Detailed Map #12 Winnebago County Attached is a letter from a state archaeologist concerning the historical significance of the property at 7901 Kishwaukee Road. There is at least one large Indian mound and several identified sites. There is also the site of one of the first buildings in the county. This farm has evidence of the earliest history in the county. The train will destroy this evidence as well as the natural beauty of the woods along the Rock River. Janet Hoisington
