My concerns are many. Closing roads and impacting school bus travel emergency responders and commute times. Increased possibility of spills and who would clean them up. Permanent destruction of precious farm land. Destroying tiles in the fields. Hundreds of people losing their quiet homes in the country. That has been their dream and it is not right that they should loose them. Trains going over our Kankakee River and through our state park. That River is our main drinking water for all of Kankakee. What if there was a spill in that river. Wildlife that is existing in the state park. I could go on and in but the bottom line is that this rail line is not needed. C.R.E.A.T. Is already doing what needs to be done to help the rail traffic in Chicago. Please read and try to understand the pleas of all of us. Thank you for your time.
