Dear Mr. Navecky, I am writing to you regarding Docket# FD 35952. I am requesting that the STB's EIS analyze include a study of the effect that the proposed rail and the high speed trains that potentially may use it will have on the water tables and water quality. There has been a great deal of concern and conversation as to how the vibrations of high speed train traffic will effect the water tables and quality of wells and the water. Every person should be entitled to quality water and should not have to fear if their well will be effected adversely, possibly fail, by the vibrations of high speed trains. Neither should people have to worry about the quality of their water being adversely effected by the pollution that will come with the proposed rail if approved and more importantly the complications of hazardous material contaminating their wells in the case of a derailment. These are very real concerns to everyone who has well water that they depend on all along the entire proposed route of this rail. I am asking that the STB please give this careful examination and seek the expertise of professionals who see it as their responsibility to safeguard the water quality of the people and communities in the local areas that could be effected as well as at the national government agencies who govern public saftey. The potential damage this proposed rail could bring to the water quality of the effected route should be of great concern to the STB and I request that you make it part of the EIS Draft analyzes. Your time, efforts and consideration are greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Theresa M. Huber
