Dear Mr. Navecky, I am contacting you regarding Docket# FD-35952, the GLBT proposed rail. I am requesting that as part of the Draft EIS analyzes that the STB consider the environmental effects that the high speed trains utilizing this proposed rail will have on the many century homes that the proposed rail will run very close to. Our home is a registered century home, 117 years old. There are many other century homes in the path of this rail in our area alone. These 100 plus years old homes were built on limestone foundations and there is great concern regarding the effect that the vibrations caused by the high speed trains will have on our homes. We live in the area called 'Rock Prairie' east of Janesville, WI. This area was settled well over 120 years ago by people who have passed down their homes and farms generation to generation. Many of the names that settled here on the Prairie are still prevalent today in this very historic very agriculture community. Losing our homes due to the vibrations of high speed rail is a very real and daunting concern. These are historic homes. This is our heritage. It would be detrimental to the environment of our families and our community if these homes were to be destroyed as a result of the vibrations caused by high speed rail. I am requesting that the STB take this issue into consideration, consulting with civil engineers, architectures and other professionals with expertise regarding the potential impact on century homes that will be effected by the proposed rail. Thank you and the STB for including this request in your EIS analyzes. Sincerely, Theresa M. Huber
