My family lives 1 mile from the proposed Great Lakes basin RR project. We have sunk all of our savings to have a beautiful life out on the I & m canal towpath. Our children love our big garden, chickens, and bee hives. They have 2 acres to run and all the wildlife to observe thru all the seasons. They quiet beauty we all love dearly will be swept away with this project. Our property will be destroyed as will the the natural beauty. We are just far enough away from the this wretched RR that they will not have to compensate us so we will be forced to live with the constant drone of trains every 7 minutes or sell our property if we are lucky enough to a buyer who will pay us far less than our property should be worth. Our lives will be in constant danger from these hazardous trains but we would be forced to live like this by a greedy bastard like Frank Patton so he can have what he wants!!! We are begging you to not let this horrible train be built, don't let greedy big business destroy a whole lot of lives and land!!!! We need farmers and we need wild places in the country much more than we need this train!!!!!!!!!!!!
