This railroad will be bisecting my family’s centennial farm at 9720 Nettle Creek Rd,. Morris, IL 60450. In the next 10 years this farm will have been in my family for 150 years. I left my job in Iowa to come home and continue my family’s tradition of farming the land. Destroying this centennial farm is directly taking away opportunities from the local economy. I plan to farm in this area for the rest of my life and right as I begin a railroad is coming in and saying they have more important things to do with my families land than what I would do with my future.
