I would like to express my concerns over the proposed Great Lakes Basin Transportation,LLC rail line project. I oppose the project and ask the Surface Transportation Board to deny the proposal. My concern is the impact on animal habitat, we have a flock of eastern wild turkeys, (which is the only turkey species found in Illinois and it became extinct in Illinois in 1910 , but has since been reintroduced) living in the area that the proposed rail road would be going through these turkeys can be found around our property on 9498 Edson rd, Capron Illinois. We also see a bald eagle pair flying near this area as well. Bald eagles are protected under the Bald and Golden eagle protection act (which states that nesting sites can not be disturbed). In the 37 years that we have lived in our home it has been in the last 5 years that these animals have returned. I plead with you that you study the impact that this would have on these animals and the destruction the train could cause to these animals and their habitat. I appreciate the opportunity to tell you my concerns. Thank you for your consideration
