Twenty five years ago, we moved from a subdivision to the country. This is our forever home and we came here for the quiet. We don't want our lives and our town over run by dangerous trains. The thought of the noise is driving us nuts. We won't sell our home since we were here first and want to stay. The school children don't need to be on a school bus for an extra hour every day. To say nothing about the farmers whose cattle and other animals will be upset with the noise. Please reconsider and allow us to maintain our little country homes without interruptions every 13 minutes. We managed to stop the garbage and the toll road and we will do our best to stop you also. As far as I can see, the airport in Peotone is at a standstill now after many homes were taken and people were displaced. Last time I checked, we were still in America and we had choices. Please don't take that away from us.
