As the owner of the farm at 7901 Kishwaukee Road in Winnebago County, I am alarmed at the damage this railroad will do to our farm and the historical sites located on its route. Attached you will find a letter from a state archaeologist attesting to the sites located on this farm. The Indians in this area built burial mounds on the cliffs overlooking the Rock River and they are in the direct proposed path of this railroad. As well as the mounds, there are other significant sites located around the property that must be studied and preserved. Please consider the ramifications of this type of project. Janet Hoisington
