Great Lakes Basin railroad claims all fields adjacent to their line can attach a rail spur onto the new line. These spurs need to also have an environment impact study done for each field adjacent to this line. Please also explain how the safety of the farmers crossing this line, a line that will bi-sect thousands of fields, will be ensured. What protections will be in place to let them know that a train is coming? The same with the private driveways this line cuts through. How are these farmers and private homeowners going to be kept safe crossing the line?
