I think that the STB needs to demand the Great Lakes Basin Transportation Company show written proof that the existing railroads have agreed to use the rail spurs the GLB line proposes. I would like to see in writing an agreement, for example, that the Illinois Railway actually wants to have a would use a rail spur built outside of Sheridan and Serena, Illinois. Right now all we have is the Great Lakes Basin Transportation Company saying they want these spurs, where is the proof anyone else wants them? The STB needs to deny any rail spurs or interchanges, whatever term you use that does not have an agreement in writing from the other railroad that they would use the line. We already have a Bridge to Nowhere" in Alaska, we do not need Illinois littered with rail interchanges and spurs to "nowhere." Where is GLB's proof they have rail lines in lace to use these spurs?"
