Hello, This new proposed railroad line will go literally through my backyard. I am against this proposal completely. My husband and I work hard so we can maintain our home and our property. We both are very proud of what we have accomplished in our lives. If this railroad line proposal passes it will impact the way we live. How will my children be able to raise their 4H animals? How will my children be able to run and play freely in our backyard. My home and property will be worth nothing because there is a railroad in the backyard. The constant rumble of a train going through will be disturbing in the day and unbearable at night. This railroad line will tear through the town that I have called home for the last 36 years. To the people who are behind this proposal think about what it would mean to you if your home, that you love, that you have worked hard to have, is on the chopping block because of a railroad. How would you feel? Would you feel sad or angry? How would you feel if your children's lives had to change because of this. I know the people who are behind this proposal probably do not and will not care for the people that it will impact, but put yourself in our shoes. Think about how you would feel if this was happening to you.
