docket number FD-35952 Why Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is a natural treasure is because Rock Creek flows through Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See in a deep canyon with a series of natural caves originally used by the Native Americans that once inhabited our land. It is one of the most scenic waterways and geologically unique properties in northern Illinois. The GLB project has real potential to adversely impact the creek, the entire watershed and the camp environment. We need to do everything in our power to protect this irreplaceable natural resource for the enjoyment of future generations. We travel about 2 hours one direction just so our boys can attend this camp. Mostly because of the area and what nature activities the camp offers, we can’t allow the natural area and nature to be destroyed. Please do no continue with this project. Sincerely, Marcia Pal and family
