We oppose the railway line being considered to go through Rock County. The proposed path of this railroad line is 4 tenths of a mile from our house. Mr. Patton indicates that this railway line would be bring new business to area close to the railroad track. Most of the land along the proposed route is zoned Agriculture 1 or Agriculture 2. The zoning ordanances prohibit commercial businesses starting up on rural land. We ask that you do an in depth study of the zoning ordanances along the proposed route to determine if they would allow a rezoning for a commercial business to be built, and that you make your findings available to the general public. Thank you.
