I am opposed to the Great Lakes Basin Transportation project for the following reasons: Noise Pollution Safety of travel - proposed railroad is near a number of schools adding to travel hazard for student population and families Inability of local fire department to handle major potential fuel spill or derailment Impact to travel times as the number of proposed trains will make it incredibly difficult to travel on many existing roadways Potential for negative impact on well system and irrigation network. A spill leaking into the current well system could severely impact availability of clean water
