The problem with the Great Lakes Basin Transportation plan is that it inflicts the very problem it is trying to alleviate for the railroad on all the farms and communities that the 278-mile rail line travels thru. With todays technology I have to believe there is better solution for the railroads, than destroying all the farmland, and creating such a burden on all the communities the GLBT touches. Please remember the people on the farms and in these old established communities are part of the environment. Their feelings should be taken into consideration, because the GLBT will change all their lives! Thank You!
