Dear Mr. Navecky, Thank you for the extensions you granted us. I appreciate that. You and your committee have a lot of work ahead of you, and I trust that you will seriously consider the points that the farming community has brought up. With an ever-expanding world population, the stewardship of our land needs to be a priority for our country. Valuable farmland must be preserved. What will happen when we aren't able to grow enough food to feed our nation? Once this valuable soil is lost, we can't get it back. Whom will we turn to for our food? I've attached a document that shows the importance of maintaining the farmland that we currently have. Thank you.
