I live next to a farm that is going to be cut in half by the GLB railroad. This farmer will now have to go around several roads that the rail road is closing to get to the other half of his fields. That means he will have to go 5 miles each way to get to the other half of his fields. This is gong to contribute air pollution that is already a problem in Porter county. It also takes a great deal of his time and costs him a lot in fuel. Figuring 10 miles extra a trip and with him having to go over his fields at least 4 times that is adding 40 road traveled miles a year for him per field. Considering that he can travel at most about 15 miles an hour it is going to add three hours to the farming of each field he has cut in two. This is in no way good for the farmer or anyone who lives in Porter county. Thank you for your time. Sincerely, Kevin Snook
