Re: Docket No. FD 35952 - Great Lakes Basin Transportation. Inc. Dear Mr. Navecky, I wrote and e-filed a letter to you dated July 10, 2016, in which was written that we live within a 25-mile radius of three nuclear power plants and a facility that stores irritated fuel and for all the reasons noted in that letter, we stated that allowing Great Lakes Basin Transportation, Inc. to construct their proposed project through La Salle and Grundy County, Illinois, should not even be a consideration and should be terminated. The Byron Nuclear Generating Station is located in Ogle County, Illinois, and was inadvertently left out of the July 10, 2016, letter. If a breach occurs at any of these plants, created form within the industry itself or by terrorism, a massive area would be involved that would require evacuation. There is no room for encumbrances of any kind in a county that houses a nuclear facility. Because of the seriousness of this concern we ask again that you refuse Great Lakes Basin Transportation, Inc.'s request to construct this rail line. Regards, April Gerstung
