In regards to the Great Lakes Basin Railroad project. In the Northern Illinois area, there are little used railways going East & West less than 4 miles away and a barely used railway going from Rockford to Rochelle less than 5 miles away. I was told that the project does not want to take another railroad property. This is exactly what will happen to thousands of tax paying citizens with their unneeded rail project. Think of the citizens of this nation that have strived to reach the American Dream, that this project wants to steal away.
