Please reconsider the Great Plains Railroad project. My son has greatly enjoyed his time at Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See. It, and the Rock Creek that flows through it, are a natural treasure that should be preserved. The camp provides a rare opportunity for kids to learn about nature and the Native American history of the area. The proposed project threatens the land and creek, makes learning more difficult with the noise, and endangers the children as it could significantly delay emergency responders.
