Please consider all of the people living in the area of the proposed railroad. We bought and paid for the land with our hard earned money We paid the bank high interest rates. We paid people to tile, fix fencing, cut trees, and dig out existing waterways. We pay taxes on the land, then we raise a crop and pay taxes on the money we earn. If the GLB Railroad were to go through the state would not be receiving any of the money we pay and will continue to pay. We have done everything we can to keep the land fertile and productive, yet someone can come in pay us a portion of the land value then sell it off to investors for a profit. We should be entitled to sell the land for that profit if we wish or keep farming in peace. Thank you for your time, Donna Hall
