Please reconsider the GLB project. Rock Creek flows through Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See in a deep canyon with a series of natural caves originally used by the Native Americans that once inhabited our land. It is one of the most scenic waterways and geologically unique properties in northern Illinois. The GLB project has real potential to adversely impact the creek, the entire watershed and the camp environment. We need to do everything in our power to protect this irreplaceable natural resource for the enjoyment of future generations. Our girls and many of their friends attend the camp which a haven for them and allows them to truly become well rounded individuals. It allows them to grow and gain responsibility for themseleves, something this country of ours is sadly lacking in too many individuals right now.
