Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See has been around for many many years and has such rich cultural history. Why would anyone want to mess with that? As you may or may not know camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is and should always be able to be a safe haven to those who need one. Its beautiful, peaceful, and everyone there has so much respect for the land. Not only if this railroad is approved not only will that damage some of the beautiful land it will damage part of rock creek. Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is an irreplaceable camp and it holds memories that will last a life time. You come to camp to leave the busy world of everyday life; and you replace it with magic, camp magic. We are the outsiders. We do not need anything to distract from our own distraction from whats going on in the world. While we are at camp we have our own news, who's going to the dance, who beat who in magic, and of course or night activities and big news. The railroads will most likely handle oil trains or Bomb Trains" and that cannot happen it will pollute the air terribly contaminating the air we breathe and hurting the natural forest we have. Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See is a safe haven a beautiful place for weddings and receptions, picnics, hiking; But with a railroad it will become a place where you cant just sit and think because every twenty minutes or so you hear a train and loose what you were thinking. A train doesn't belong in such a place of serenity and peace if you want to add something add a tree because the world needs more of those. As it can anywhere emergency's can happen at camp shaw. Now without the railroad an emergency vehicle can get there much quicker which is very beneficial if a camper or anyone is hurt but if a railroad gets put in there will be a delay response of emergency vehicles and every minute counts. Please think about everything i have said in this message i hope it can make you rethink your decision i would greatly appreciate it as would many many others."
