Dear Mr Navecky, I don't know what other environmental concern I can point out.....they've all been researched and posted. This proposal would be a definate disaster to the environment on many many levels. Let me reference though, a letter dated July 6th by Lisa Hillman. We are all human and I know that at the end of the day, you are just like us. You work hard for what you have and you want to be proud of the life you have made for yourself and your family. I have read through many of the scoping comments, and it breaks my heart to hear how this project will permanently scare so many lives. Every time I hear a train, I can’t help but picture in my mind the GLB railway plowing through the farm ground and homesteads much like a tornado, destructing the fertile farmground, beautiful properties and permanently scaring the lives and hearts of many hard-working Americans. The only difference is that you have a choice in this situation, a choice not to destroy these god-given creations. Please listen to the cries of these people as you read through the scoping comments. These are real people, much like yourself, that just want to get back to living their lives. You can make that happen. Our future is in the hands of your Surface Transportation Board. I beg you to please abolish this project. I believe this is one of the times in our lives when “less is more”. Lisa Hillman" Can you hear the heartache in this letter? Can you hear the worry and frustration of her voice saying, how can this even be considered? Destroying peoples lives, homes, livelihoods, way of life, etc... should never be allowed!!! Making Americans sick with worry should also not be allowed!!! PLEASE REJECT ANY APPLICATION FROM GLB, TAKE NO ACTION ALTERNATIVE AND CEASE ANY AND ALL FURTHER STUDIES ON THIS PROPOSAL! Please, for the sake of all of these people who would be so gravely impacted. Thank you, Julie Kokos 708-426-4180"
