I am opposed to the Great Lakes Basin Railroad, this line will affect the cultural and historical environment surrounding Shabbona Park outside of Harding Illinois. Chief Shabbona was the chief of the Ottawa tribe and traveled extensively in this area of Illinois. This rail line will hinder how future generations interpret and enjoy the lands he traveled. This line needs to be denied as it affects many historical places in the Chicagoland area.
