All over the nation rail lines are being closed, many need the STB approval to be repurposed and closed. Most of the repurposing involves making trails out of the lines. Amazing how we want to put the wilderness and nature habitat back in place. If people like trains like the GLB spokespeople claim, why are they not wanting to live by old tracks? They could run their own trains on them and everything. The reason is people do not like trains and they, unlike the GLB claims, do not own their own trains. The STB is looking into many rail abandonments and there are hundreds of abandoned lines in existence. This lines have permanently ruined the land under them, so that they are only good for trails. Do not let more Prime Farmland be taken and forever ruined by this line. Please explain why if so many lines are closing we need another one, especially one owned by a private company.
