Please explain why one company can seek eminent domain for private gain? Eminent domain is meant for projects of public importance. Pease explain how this projects fulfills the public importance criteria. Especially when 2 of the 6 class one railroads are opposed to this line. Please also explain why this line that will probably use federal railroad loans, taking money away from other projects, as they only have so much money to lend, is a better project for the public than the CREATE project, which has proven it can reduce travel times and increase rail safety. CREATE will have fewer funds available for the great work they do if this line is approved. Please explain why this line is better than the CREATE plans, as CREATE says it harms their plans and overall rail safety in Chicagoland.
