Dear Mr. Navecky, As a single, widowed female business owner I am vehemently objecting to the Great Lakes Basin Railroad proposal. This would violate federal guidelines that prohibit discrimination for minorities and the poor in the construction of transportation projects. The project would take my land from me as I am in the proposed railyard" which is being referred to as the Manteno Railport. It is NOT Manteno, the map shows the railyard sitting on top of Sumner Township in Kankakee County, outside the Village limits of Grant Park, IL ! That's just another false truth from Frank Patton and the GLB. They don't even know what township they would be destroying! Or they want to call it something else for the purpose of deceiving the STB! As a minority business owner, I feel this is in direct violation of the federal guidelines that were created to protect minorities from discrimination, please explain how this line does not directly target minority business owners?
