I would like to know how the STB is going to study the environmental impact of having hundreds of rail spurs built onto the GLB line. GLB states they will allow all landowners the right to access this line for private transport of goods. Each landowner will therefore need their own rail spur. In order for the STB to do a complete review of this project every parcel of land must be evaluated for future rail spur opportunities. I am requesting this be done. If the STB does not feel this is required, even tough such spurs will take hundreds more acres of land out of production, will add pollution as trains idle to load, will delay the other trains on the tracks, and will block even more roads and crossing, I would like to know why this review is not needed and not required when the STB is charged with doing a complete environmental review?
