As a woman I am opposed to the STB allowing Great Lakes Basin Transportation company to harass innocent widows, with threats to take their land. These women like myself are minority business owners and the GLB company is targeting widows, other women and the elderly with their line. This amounts to harassment and discrimination. The STB needs to do a full review of each parcel of land affected and who is the owner of the land to determine just how harmful this line is to minority residents, this includes women, non-white residents, the poor, the handicapped and the elderly. GLB is harming our enjoyment of life and the future enjoyment of the countryside with threats of building this unneeded rail line.
