Please explain why the proposed Great Lakes Basin Railroad is a more preferred business than the productive farms that exist now? This line needs stopped, it has no proven resources, no formal support from any class one railroads, no history to show they know how to run a line, they own no trains or tracks themselves, but the STB feels they would use the land better and more productively than the generational farmers whom have protected and improved the land for hundreds of years. This is not undeveloped land this is developed land, that is cared for by hands on owners and not Businessmen sitting in offfices telling trains were to go. I want to know why this business is better than my family business?
