Docket # FD 35952 Re: GLBT Rail Line Frank Patton boasts tens of thousands and hundreds of thousands of jobs would be created based on numbers from a T.V. program regarding transportation infrastructure. Frank Patton admits “I can't validate that number. I don't know where he got it”. (December 15, 2015 video) The majority of these phantom job numbers are temporary jobs. The huge decrease in permanent truck driver jobs, truck mechanic jobs, trucking companies and truck manufacturing companies will lead to less income and less income taxes, wheel taxes, fuel taxes, permit fees and license costs paid out to county, state and federal governments. Will these permanent losses caused by the GLBT rail line be figured into an economic impact analysis? Sandy Linden Cedar Creek Township Lowell, IN
