Dear Mr. Navecky, I have a question, who is paying for the Environmental Impact Study?? Are the American Taxpayers paying for it? Something is just not right! How does a private investor just come along and say, I'd like to steal a massive amount of land from people who already live on it and I will call it a railroad, I don't know anything about railroads, I just had a model train set when I was little! I'll claim non-disclosure when they ask who is backing this and then when it ends up that no backing is there, I'll just tell the Federal government to pay for it. My next step is to go to the Surface Transportation Board and ask to have a study started. Then we will let a few people know, not very many though, only those that would fall for a huge land grabbing scheme when we tell them it's for the "good of the public", "public convenience and necessity" and to "create jobs" or "you're going to make millions". Next, I will somehow get around the proper requirements and get the waiting period waived so I can then proceed to threaten the good, hard working, tax paying citizens of these areas with my eventual ability to use EMINENT DOMAIN to take from them what is rightfully theirs! In the meantime, I'll destroy massive acres of farmland and the environment for my private gain. Before I do that, I will be put off by their inability to see things my way and mock them and call them NIMBYS" This may sound silly but is this what is happening? It sure sounds like it to us!!! You would think that a legitimate proposal for a project of this magnitude would be presented by someone who knows what they are talking about and is completely transparent. But, this is, by far, is the shadiest deal I have ever heard in my life!!!!"
