I am writing regarding mp 130 to mp 140.The GLB plans in this area cut the towns of Sheridan and Serena off from each other. Sheridan and Serena share a common emergency response crew, school district and church. Cutting the two towns off from each other would create a cultural divide in the area. It would also limit response times in the event of an emergency. Please explain why this is a preferred alternative" to a more logical and safer alternative of building the line North of Sheridan or South of Serena? he current location cuts off the town of Serena from it's ambulance service and cuts Sheridan off from the combined high school and church. Placing a railroad between these two towns is placing an undue hardship on the residents and increase accident potential. All Ambulance calls for Serena come from Sheridan and all high school students from Sheridan go to Serna. This line would effectively cut the two towns that work so well together off from each other. Please explain why this is a better idea than moving the line further north or South form this area? Added to this the line is too close to the prison and moving it further South towards Serena then places it less than one mile from the Serena population center and this is against the stated GLB purpose of staying 1 to 2 miles from population centers."
